This was a good place to work and GREAT home time. They lost a contract or I would still be working for them. They have free health insurance, and they pay actual miles! They have a good atmosphere, good communication for the most part.

They didn't have their own mechanics and I had to take the truck back and forth to the shop when it needed maintenance.

The other drivers and the managers and owners were really great. Good steady customers. XM radio in all the trucks. Some new trucks. Paperless logs. Fully paid health insurance. That is a big one for some people, my wifes job covers my insurance so not so much for me.

As far as pay goes, you start off below the industry average then get a couple of good raises the first year and then you never get a raise again. Guys that had been there 8 and 10 years were making the same as one year drivers, for a local job that is terrible. One week of vacation per year and that is all they want to you take. Seems like they don't respect the drivers that stay a while and that is who they should be giving raises and such.
