-Lots of intelligent, hard working, awesome people from diverse backgrounds -Good office perks, lunch 3x a week, gym on site etc -interesting space with complex product, a lot of opportunity to learn, although unfortunately seems to be a dying market

I cannot in good faith recommend Ezoic to any candidates who are considering joining at this point. There was a time when Ezoic was a very exciting place to be, but unfortunately due to an evolving market, volatility with ad rates, and poor leadership - the last few years have been brutal. 3 rounds of layoffs in the last 1.5 years, although employees were being laid off in between each of those, which seemed like an attempt on management's part to sweep under the rug hoping no one would notice. Ezoic has existed for around 13 years but for what I assume is a multitude of factors never grew beyond a "startup." After drastically inflating headcount in the summer of 2022 and then conducting a series layoffs starting that winter, the company has now shrank in headcount to half of what it was 3-4 years ago. From its inception there have been 2-3 pivots in their core offering - at a certain point you have to wonder why the original product offering was not enough to lead the company to IPO or at least consistent profitability. Not sure what the future holds for Ezoic at this point, but if you are a driven individual with goals of growth and financial leveling up to reflect your hard work, this is not the place for you.
