Pluspunten
The company is successful and making money though sometimes you wonder how they manage it given the way work is done sometimes. There are some lovely people, they know how to find really nice and capable people, though they don't really know how to treat them.
Minpunten
It's like there's two companies, there's the vision of this modern, exciting company where people come first and innovation is at the core of the company (i.e the marketing) and then there's the real company: Long Probation period - nine months is a long time to be on probation, especially for non-graduates, it's not really a fair way to treat grown-ups Training - there is very little training opportunities, they don't mind you asking for training but you seldom get it. The only training you typically get is the inital excruciating training in the Fineos product. Career advancement - Fineos is a closed shop for most employees when it comes to promotion, it's not based on merit but on who you know, if you don't like politics and want to progress in your career then this is not the really the place for you. Innovation - technical progress happens at a snails pace, any type of change is resisted. People Skills - people management is definitely a top-down approach, and it can sometimes be more like survival of the fittest, no-one takes responsibility for problems or mistakes, instead they find someone to blame and it's better that it's not you! There is a lot of staff turnover and they're so scared of it that they try to keep the fact that people are leaving a secret from staff.
