There is so much that is broken with processes and systems and all of the friction that is created falls back on sales to resolve with clients. The hours are long and the work is mostly thankless. The new leadership - Starting with Jill Brannon and on down - is totally out of touch with what it is like for the front line sales professionals on a day to day basis. The organizational changes that were rolled out in 2021 were terrible. Also, if you want to promote, be prepared to move.
