Pluspunten
Compared to my last company which was laying people off left and right and pushing AI down people's throats to replace the rest, Federated is a stable and people-first employer. They offer a good 401k match and pension, so it's no wonder that people stick around here for a very long time. The people here have been very friendly and very welcoming thus far. Benefits and perks are (mostly) competitive, and there's opportunity for growth. They contribute much more to health insurance premiums than my last employer. Since I'm on a family plan, this was equivalent to $300 more in my pocket every month. Pay for my position seems competitive and there's an additional bonus on top of that based on company performance.
Minpunten
To put it bluntly, Federated is old school. I think this is due to the fact that so many people stay at Federated for such a long time. The world has changed, and it seems like one at Federated knows it unless you're new. This has upsides (pension), and downsides (very slow to adapt to change). The biggest downside at Federated is the 100% in-office environment compared to many other jobs that offer remote or hybrid work schedules. The formal dress code is very old school as well. My last company also had more PTO days. Federated starts at 16, my last company started at 20.
