Pluspunten

Your peers were easily the best part of the job! That said, the company has unparalleled turnover so you can't count on your work friends sticking around. If you are a fully remote worker, you avoid a vast majority of the challenges that most folks experience and honestly, FH might be an okay place to work. But if you are in-person, I'd heed the advice of the more negative reviews.

Minpunten

I upvote the negative reviews of the company. There are a lot of issues: the CEO "doesn't believe" in cost of living adjustments so don't expect your salary to change even if you work there 2+ years, micromanagement by senior leadership, indiscriminate firing of employees, performative DEI (especially with their Employee Resource Groups), intrusive monitoring on laptops, etc. From an outside perspective (as I'm no longer with the company), the positive reviews feel like a concerted effort by management to try to increase the company's Glassdoor score because they've had a hard time hiring people. The issue I'd like to highlight though is the most recent injunction the company has filed in regards to the union. The TLDR is a slew of unfair labor practices that were found to have merit by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Instead of admitting fault, as most companies do, Findhelp took the case to court and the week before the case was set to be heard, filed an injunction claiming the NLRB is unconstitutional. Given that the company is supposed to be modernizing the American safety net, I cannot imagine anything more damning to working class Americans than having their labor protections gutted. The CEO and Senior Leadership clearly do not truly believe in the mission they've set forth, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to make this unconscionable argument that has the potential to have irrevocable impacts on people in need.

Thank you for providing feedback on what you felt didn't fit with what you are looking for in a company. We're sorry you feel you didn't have a great experience during your time here. We are proud to be a mission driven company. We believe we are building a culture where co-workers show each other respect, are helpful to one another, and push each other to be better. We are thankful for the people that are living those values here every day. We also want to correct the false information provided above regarding the injunction sought and granted by the 5th District Court. The NLRB was created at a vulnerable time in the history of our country. Nearly a hundred years ago, against the backdrop of violent union-employer conflicts, the NLRB's mission was clear – to protect labor peace by enforcing the law’s collective bargaining requirements. That was and is an important and noble mission, and one that we support. Our argument for an injunction was based upon specific constitutional issues relating to the accountability of the Agency’s Administrative Law Judges and the Members of the NLRB, and the denial of our constitutional right to a jury trial, not that we find the NLRB itself unconstitutional as stated above. We support the core mission of the NLRB and the role Frances Perkins played an in creating the National Labor Relations Act. Other federal courts have found merit to these arguments in the context of the NLRB and other government agencies. In addition, we hope that the attention these claims bring to the NLRB will lead to other changes that will focus the Agency on its core mission and limit its disruptive interventions into the management of the workplace. Federal Judge Mark Pittman agreed with our arguments and granted the injunction. Businesses and workers need to be able to both understand the law, and count on the law for stability so that they can go about their business. In our case, that business is helping those who most need help.

The experience here has been way beyond just work. The team genuinely focuses on learning, growth, and creating an environment where interns and co-ops feel supported and valued. What stood out the most was how much trust and exposure we got to the actual product. Every day felt like exponential learning, not just completing tasks. The mentorship, collaboration, and positive culture made it easy to ask questions, improve fast, and enjoy the process. The benefits and support for employees are honestly amazing too, especially the focus on health and well-being. Experiences like this really shape the way you think about engineering, teamwork, and your future career. Grateful to be part of such an incredible environment.

Pluspunten

Absolutely fantastic culture and team. Company maintained a flat, collaborative structure despite its size with brilliant people cooperating beautifully to serve everyday people.

Minpunten

You don't get your hand held or have a tour guide. You will need to dive in and figure it out for yourself. But the team culture is welcoming and collaborative, so if you're willing to tolerate some initial dizziness around how things work, you'll find good people you're thrilled to work with.
