Pluspunten
If you're looking to get your foot in the Financial Industry, this is the place to start. Start being the key word. I loved all of the people I worked with there. People that are not only close friends of mine but are people that I worked very well with. FCCU pays for your benefits which is something that not very many companies do these days. It is the main perk that kept me with the company. They are very charity oriented. Every month they sponsor a charity & give a company wide chance to donate to the charity in exchange for wearing jeans to work one day. They also sponsor employees that want to participate int he Komen 5k every June. That is something I took advantage of every year.
Minpunten
Salary isn't great. They say they give you a raise according to performance & pride themselves on not giving $0.25-$0.50 raises like other companies. However, I did not receive such. Upon year 2 review my raise significantly dropped & continued to nose dive from then on out. This is something I discussed with upper management, however nothing was done about it. There is no room for advancement as told so in interviews. The only way to move up in the company is to work at a branch & if you enjoy working in back office such as myself there is no where to go. Even if you did move to a branch you would start at the bottom of the totem pole & have to wait for everyone above you to leave in order to move up. I was there for nearly 4 years, loved my position managers & coworkers.
