As always, we want to thank this employee for taking the time to write a review. We look at these as an opportunity for feedback and look into areas that we can improve. We have recognized the need for training of new and more junior employees and have created many internal and external resources and opportunities that any employee may pursue if they are interested. For example, we have "CEQA University", a six week training program for all new environmental interns an analysts run by an experience environmental and land use attorney. We have many learn-over-lunches presented by our in-house experts, and encourage bringing additional training opportunities to our attention. We record any training completed in-house in order to ensure others who were not able to attend can view the material. We are also actively working on expanding our in-house training system and opportunities to reach more senior levels of the company. We also try to ensure we maintain competitive salaries and have above average industry benefit packages. We do an annual survey of salaries based upon similar positions in the areas that we are located and then take into account career grade and experience to determine a salary range that is competitive, fair, and non-discriminatory. Our benefit package is also very strong, which a high company contribution rate, and includes medical, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability, accident/major illness, and even pet insurance coverage offerings. While we certainly have experienced growing pains in the past, we are continuing to grow and develop our management team, training experience, policies and procedures, and other aspects of work/life to ensure a great experience for all our employees.
