      In practical terms, cost-of-living adjustments (COLA) are effectively absent. The company regularly increases pricing on its products and services and raises performance expectations for sales teams, yet it does not consistently apply corresponding adjustments to employee compensation. As a result, compensation may not keep pace with the rising cost of living, which can place pressure on individual contributors over time. This approach is not uncommon within the industry. Given these dynamics, a tenure of approximately three to five years may be a reasonable expectation for many employees.

      Solid, stable, predictable. Most people are out of the office by 4 or 5 pm. Life is easy and expectations are low.

      Minpunten

      Little support for marketing. Fortinet has too many products and too many product lines - and every product owner is fighting for attention of sales. The company is firmly wedded to it's hardware roots. Fortinet has not invested in internal systems. Reporting is awkard and cumbersome, and adaption on enterprise AI is still a long ways off. There are no women in senior roles.
