The environment often felt heavily micromanaged at every level of leadership, with experiences of both covert and overt racism in the workplace. There was also a strong sense of competition and distrust among coworkers, where people would undermine one another for personal gain. Leadership and upper management appeared far more focused on optics and appearances than the actual well-being of the employees working on the show floor.
