Like any job, you do a good job, the management loves you and pretty much favors you. They allow you to do things that normally isn't allowed. Like take a day off without the allowed time.

Minpunten

Once you tell management that you are not available to do certain things, thats it. You have gotten on their bad side. And thats just the one favor you haven't done for them, compared to the million that you have.

What I loved about this job is getting full ownership over my part of the business, and I know a lot of people stick around because they feel a similar passion and ownership. Even though the company is 25 years old, there are still many areas where a much work is needed and therefore great opportunity for new people to come in and make big impact.

Minpunten

No flexibility for employees to work from home when needed, and terrible PTO package. The family leadership is not transparent, makes questionable business decisions.
