Pluspunten

Making Medical Devices that save lives. Work with some good Engineers and Manufacturing Techs, and Quality Techs. Also cannot say enough good things about the Production Operators

Minpunten

Management, really needs to work on better communications, accountability and responsibility. Spare parts inventory in a ROP and 5S system, so maintenance techs do not have to go on a "treasure hunt" and try to find "clues" for needed parts for downed stations and production lines. I cannot understand why current management wants to have closed communications with process side/production operations. In the 6 years I have been in maintenance I have always been able to communicate with others through email, teams, and in person about production line/station issues to resolve problems for the different projects, manufacturing and product development. One more thing, very big problem with having tools for maint. techs and no regard or accountability and responsibility to put tools back in their place no 5S just a random free for all. One more last thing, to summarize Cons, maintenance manager recently told me the above will be worse before it gets better. In the last 8 months and the start of this year, that statement is very true.

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Minpunten

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
