I had the opportunity to work at Frontier Performance Polymers, and I feel compelled to share my experience.
The team I worked with was incredibly kind and supportive, and I truly enjoyed collaborating with my colleagues. However, the overarching management situation was far from ideal. The company is run by an older gentleman who seems completely disconnected from the realities of project timelines and planning. He often expects immediate results without understanding the necessary steps, time, and coordination required to achieve them. This lack of understanding at the top has led to stagnation. Despite working on the same product for over 15 years, the company has not made a single significant breakthrough, which speaks volumes about the management's failure to drive innovation or progress.
From a physical and organizational standpoint, the company is a complete mess. The office is perpetually dusty, with plastic residue scattered everywhere. The injection molding machines are a major safety concern—they emit toxic smoke that isn't properly filtered, and the overall facility suffers from poor maintenance. Even the bathrooms, which should be basic spaces of hygiene, are appallingly neglected. The state of cleanliness in the company is not just unprofessional—it’s borderline hazardous.
The management’s lack of attention to detail is evident everywhere. The boss’s office is a disaster, which is telling in terms of his organizational skills. The state of his private bathroom is even worse than the already dismal public ones in the building—something that struck me as a direct reflection of his disregard for the well-being of both his employees and the company as a whole.
Most concerning of all is the way employees are treated. There is little to no respect for their opinions, and the atmosphere feels toxic. It’s clear that the management does not value the people who work for them, which is demoralizing for anyone trying to make a difference.
In conclusion, while the coworkers I interacted with were great, the company's leadership and overall environment were extremely disappointing. The lack of progress, poor working conditions, and disrespect for employees make it difficult to recommend Frontier Performance Polymers as a place to work or do business with.
