Will make every job after seem like a blessing
Minpunten
Glad to see the company is getting big enough that people can actually post accurate reviews without being singled out, seeing as the 5-star reviews from the past are so obviously fake. So you can probably tell that Fusion makes you work insane hours, but in my mind working these hours is justifiable IF you have at least a few of the following: -Managers who genuinely care about your sustainability and mental health. There is absolutely 0 hint of this at Fusion. People will just pile the work on you without even a single thought towards whether you have the time. Managers have no problem saying "Oh give it to x person, we'll just make them work all night" -Above-market pay. Again, not at Fusion. Your salary is pretty much below any other competitive consulting firm -A fun company culture. Not at Fusion. People literally have no time to socialize because everyone is so overwhelmed all the time -Interesting and fulfilling work. This one comes down to a matter of opinion, but at the end of the day I don't find it incredibly fulfilling to make it my mission to help some of the largest corporations in the world grow their sales by 1% -Good benefits and vacation. I bet you're starting to see a pattern here. Fusion has NONE of the typical perks you'd expect from a consulting firm. No expensed dinners during long nights, no swag, almost no vacation, etc -Good exit opportunities. Fusion is a small niche company that no one outside of retail has heard of. I'll let you do the math here In short, most consulting jobs have the majority if not all of the perks listed above. Fusion has 0. So before you take a job here, genuinely ask yourself, is it worth it?
