As we continue to move towards a professionally managed company, we are implementing infrastructure with more standard policies and procedures. We recently replaced a 10-year old agreement to ensure FUTREND can fulfill our contractual obligations to the government, especially regarding intellectual property. We hired and consulted with law firms that specialize in employment and intellectual property law. The agreement language is very standard and very fair among all government contractors (large, medium or small) for work performed within the scope of employment. FUTREND graduated out of the 8(a) program in 2015. As with any of the 1600+ graduated 8(a) companies, it is critical for us to continue to bring in new business outside of the 8(a) program. We continue to expand our work with new customers and within existing customers. Under today’s environment of severe budget cuts, it is very important for us to work together to continue to provide the top quality services to our customers.
