Pluspunten
Worked for this company throughout most of 2020 and left in March 2021. They used to be called Logistimatics but the original owners sold the company to Saltwater Capital and from what I've heard, all the original owners are no longer at the company. The pros of working at Logistimatics/GPX were quite honestly interacting with the original owners Brendan, Jeff, and Matt because they were nice, kind, and genuine people. They ran the company with integrity and made sure everyone felt heard. But when Saltwater joined the party, the energy shifted abruptly. After that, we were a "rapidly growing startup," seeking and filling new positions left and right. Multiple new faces would appear at the company out of no where, while those that were with the company before the acquisition got pushed aside.
Minpunten
The Customer Service team is the most skilled, educated, and talented in the entire company, but they are constantly overlooked and talked down to by leadership and other departments. Members of the CS team are expected to handle tasks and projects outside their job descriptions, like pushing for sales conversions, doing graphic designs, packaging and stocking products, handling legal disputes, and even investigating fraud... however, they are frequently made aware that their pay will NOT be adjusted for taking on the extra work. The difference in pay between people in "leadership" roles and people on the customer service and fulfillment teams is also really obnoxious. Leadership also does a great job of gatekeeping open positions so people that already work for the company, specifically in Customer Service, do not get the chance to apply for higher roles that they are likely qualified to do. Before we had anyone working in HR, I was personally aiming for an HR management position, until all of a sudden we had an HR manager one day that no one knew we were hiring for. Anyone joining the company's Customer Service team after 2020 should be wary that they will be hired at hourly pay, only to be reviewed once per year and receive a whopping $0.50 cent raise! Also, do not think for one second that you will be hired for CS or fulfillment and "grow with the company". You will just continue seeing new faces randomly show up making $60k or more. Meanwhile, the most you will ever see while working in the lower departments and taking on extra projects outside the scope of your work is about $40k. Point blank, this company does not respect or acknowledge their CS and fulfillment teams. Please allow this review to serve as your warning.
