AJG seems like a fantastic company to work for, with a good employee philosophy. I met (virtually) some fantastic people who I really enjoyed working with. Since they build their business through acquisitions and mergers, it's nice that they offer such a generous severance package for positions eliminated at the branch level. They took good care of me.
Minpunten
They come into a potential acquisition with catch phrases like 'Everyone's on the bus' and 'Do no harm'. The reality is they don't need accounting or HR staff at the branch level. To 'stay on the bus', I would have had to accept a receptionist/support position, having been the company's controller.
