There was a noticeable shift in workplace culture starting in 2024, following some changes in leadership and key team members leaving the company. - Promotions and raises are slow. Even if someone was recognized as a high performer, it's difficult to receive ratings beyond “meets expectations” due to rigid KPI structures. The evaluation system can feel discouraging and disconnected from individual contributions. - Employee feedback often goes unheard. Sprint retrospectives and planning sessions don’t seem to lead to change. Estimations provided by the team are frequently questioned and sometimes overruled, causing pressure to shorten timelines. - Promises made by leadership have not always been followed through. In 2024, layoffs occurred despite prior assurances that they wouldn’t. Unfortunately, a similar situation happened again in 2025. - Job security feels unstable.
