- The Board are out of touch with some areas of the business, resulting in decisions that negatively impact teams and staff.
- Places more value on the company’s share price than staff welfare, morale, and mental health.
- Toxic office politics, ineffective managing partner, rude (and sometimes downright vile) Solictors who regularly attempt to shirk their own files and work.
- No clear progression path for paralegals unless you secure a training contract. This last year no paralegals received a promotion to “senior paralegal” as there is no such role. However senior positions were granted in other areas of the business i.e Accounts, IT, Compliance etc.
- No proper pay review was conducted during my employment. While I received a pay rise, this was in line with inflation, it did not take into consideration the increasing workload and the “rewarding” of additional duties and responsibilities due to my experience and capability.
