Pluspunten
Flexible scheduling (at least in the Administrative Center setting). I was able to set up my schedule to achieve an excellent work/life balance. If I was planning on going on vacation or needed a day off for appointments or whatever, I was able to work this out with my supervisor. I was more of a morning work person because I enjoyed working out in the afternoons, so I was able to set up my schedule where I was out by noon most days to enjoy the weather! The only reason I left was because I needed a full time position :(

GCPL does not provide accumulated paid sick/vacation leave for part time employees. If you are out for whatever reason, you are responsible for making up those hours. Comparatively, the pay could have been better. I don't think the Director even knew my name. She never referred to me once by name, only to my boss as "her." That did not make me feel like a very appreciated member of the admin. center team.
