Pluspunten
Very skilled and resilient support staff.
Minpunten
When events do not go as planned or problem on an existing line within the plant there is absolutely no culpability by the management team to fix the underlying problems or take a step back to fix what is broken; only to band aid the visible symptom and reprimand an overloaded support staff. The support staff is never given a reasonable timeline to properly implement projects, especially with projects that require multiple departments to coordinate without any real guidance or prioritization coming from those on top. There has been an office staff turnover of ~45% from April-December 2018 but at no point has the management group gotten the support team together and given us any vision or guidance of what is being done to fix any of the issues. The only thing keeping the plant even marginally running is the resiliency of the support staff. They continually push through to make the best out of bad situations despite the extra work added due to attrition or the over-promises by the management team. There is zero leadership or communication for short or long term goals, let alone a roadmap on how they plan to get there. This management staff is either unwilling or unable to identify and address the underlying problems within the plant. In short, the management group in Jefferson is not only ineffective but clearly do not understand the sheer scale of work that exists or have a plan to get this plant even remotely close to world class and are utterly overwhelmed.
