Highly research oriented environment. Professors are often encouraged to start their own small business enterprise to commercialize their research.

Minpunten

Focus is starting to shift away from academics and producing high quality students. Lot of research in engineering and sciences is becoming interdisciplinary but students engaged in such research are ill equipped to get an in-depth understanding of the subject due to a shortage of such courses offered to them.

- Free Housing - Meal Plan - One of the better on campus job for students in my opinion (still able to be involved in other activities as a student on campus)

Minpunten

- Duty part of the job (Being on call and getting late night lock outs but this is rare), and definitely can still do homework in between doing duty rounds - experience can also depend on your hall director / area (but regardless still served on great RA teams, can be great if you have a co-ra but also been good at time being a single RA on the floor (no need to coordinate schedule if you do events together as a single RA unless you alternate events with your co)
