Pluspunten

- the direct colleagues of the hotel department were very nice and considerate. Always there for you whenever you had questions, but also when you wanted to have a good laugh. Great team of professionals with a sense of humor.

Minpunten

Everything else. Team is (probably still) being controlled by a person that should not be called a manager due to the unprofessional attitude and poor understanding of its own department. Has zero clue who is doing what and how they do it. Then, when problems start coming up, the manager thinks the best way to solve the problem is by literally screaming at junior employees. “Why have you guys not figured out any solution yet?” Is what you hear after barely 2/3 weeks of starting the position and getting used to the role. Luckily, I never experienced such an unprofessional act before, and I sincerely hope this was also the last. In order to fix the problem at hand, no attempt is made to actually make the big necessary steps. Instead, it was viewed to be a brilliant idea to invest everybody’s time into something far more useful. Each team member has to tell what they do and to create a detailed manual of their day-to-day tasks, so you can be easily replaced. And of course, when you know you know, this is exactly what happened. I did not get an extension of my contract, announced exactly on the same day that is required by Dutch law, so you have just 4 weeks to find your next amazing job. When asked as to why your contract won’t be extended, you receive some cheap and fake excuse from the manager, talking you down, telling you it’s your fault because you didn’t solve the complex problem at hand. To have the audacity to even talk to someone just starting its professional career, is pretty sad. Well, guess what, it is so bad due to poor management and inefficient decision making to which “normal employees” have zero influence on. Even when an idea for change was raised multiple times by employees, it does not matter. It’s such a shame. The company actually has a good concept, and their main business, arranging taxi transportation, is going strong with a clear growth indication. It’s just this department that is/was falling short. With some changes it could potentially become really good, but management does not want any of it (when I was there, at least). It rather focuses on small “improvements”, quick fixes.

Pluspunten

Great international team, fun to work with and very supportive. Fast-growing company with strong potential, a lot of opportunities to learn. For sales roles: travel, exposure to clients, and clear career growth path. You can take initiative and actually see your impact. Not a place where ideas get lost in hierarchy.

Minpunten

Like any startup, not everything is perfectly organized yet. Some processes are still being built while the company grows. You need to be comfortable with change and ambiguity. If you prefer to be guided step by step, with lots of structure, this may not be the right fit.
