Pluspunten
Members of staff (teachers and cooking staff) seemed kind. The students are well behaved and have a good relationship with their teachers.
Minpunten
I would not recommend working at Gifted Minds International. The relationship between members of staff and leaders of the school seemed strained. Staff are put under huge amounts of pressure considering the pay that they are provided with. Staff members are spoken to in a very condescending manner by some members of management. It seems that a philosophy of trying to break new staff members down in order to build them back up is followed, which results in some very rude and abrupt interactions. On one occasion I saw a staff member being scolded for referring to students as “kids”. Perhaps a better atmosphere might be created if staff members were not reprimanded for such slights in the workplace. Also, I saw a rat running through the computer room one morning.
