(1) Generally bad management. Top management lack foresight, middle management lack courage to report ground situations, resulting in disconnect between top management and ground level working engineers. Strangely, people with poor technical skills and knowledge usually opt for management track in this company. Those middle management with poor technical skills and lack of courage to set directions, but coupled with a strong ego to win in argument, are usually the ones who makes your life miserable with office politics, on-top of your daily technical issues to work on.
