Learning from my reporting manager and the founders – watching complete disorganization be confidently labeled as leadership was an unforgettable experience. It genuinely taught me how not to run a company. Learning experience of how my specific function works – the best takeaway was understanding how poor planning, constant firefighting, and lack of direction can actively slow down growth. Division of tasks – work was dumped efficiently and frequently, usually without clarity, timelines, or logic, ensuring maximum confusion and stress for everyone involved.
