What's worse is that they encouraged those that (they liked and) worked with them to do the same. If your face fitted and you kowtowed to those that demanded it, then you were on to a winner. If not...if you dare to be a "no" person then it's the door shutting behind you that you will hear. All I wanted to do was my best but as I didn't want to play their silly games or conform to the ridiculous demands that had nothing to do with the job, that was me done.
