New leadership doesn’t seem to understand the edtech space, and it shows. There’s a clear disconnect between what they think is happening and what employees deal with daily. They’re pushing a “performance culture,” but commissions are weak, so there’s little real motivation. On top of that, internal systems are broken—simple tasks take way longer than they should. Salesforce is a mess, CPQ is unreliable, and reps waste tons of time fixing errors instead of selling. Outsourcing product support has made things worse for customers, who now get canned responses and little actual help. Overall, it’s a stressful place to work right now. If you value your mental health, you may want to look elsewhere.
