Do not give you notice of furlough. It happens that day. Log off. Dont long back on until we give you this date. This one felt different. And it was. We were tricked. We were cheated out of a selling season in more than one way. They claim they care but its evident that we are not and were never valued employees. You can spend 7 straight weeks at your desk away from your family, barely time to move or even go to the bathroom. Can you imagine the devastation and betrayal you could feel after giving that much of yourself to a company and they fire you? And not just that, but always getting exceeds expectations reviews from manager. I was told if I did more, I'd less likely be furloughed and then worked myself sick and immediately lost a family member into 2025. Just to still be furloughed and then fired. No transparency about why this REALLY happened. Everything feels off and it feels like no one is being honest. Being told to "keep on keeping on" meant as a reference joke, but was in poor taste during a meeting about not coming back for the selling season.
