Pluspunten

The best reason is that if you are not so confident about cutting hair, you will gain that from working there. The other thing is if you are not interested in doing color, it is not a service we offer.

Minpunten

One downside to working at Great Clips, at least with my franchisee, it is almost impossible to move into managment no matter how much experience you have. Another thing is our franchisse has not offered any of the sylists a raise in almost 2 years. The other thing is that we have a dress code that is black, white, and khaki. Most customers think we have had a death in the family as to why we are wearing black in the summertime. The other thing is that we are restricted in the type of shoes we can wear, It is hard to work 8 hours in shoes that give you no kind of foot support.

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
