Pluspunten
The product is genuinely best-in-class. Working on Greenhouse feels like being part of the “gold standard” in recruiting software; almost every big tech company and ambitious startup you admire uses it. That gives a real sense of impact. Smart, low-ego colleagues. Engineering, Product, and Design are filled with sharp people who actually want to ship great features instead of just arguing about them. Customer obsession is real. You get to talk directly to heads of talent at companies like Airbnb, DoorDash, or Ramp, which keeps the work grounded and makes prioritization decisions easier. Fully remote-friendly even from the NYC office; the hybrid model is truly flexible. Unlimited PTO is honored in practice, not just on paper.
Minpunten
- Pace can be intense. We release every two weeks and customers expect enterprise-grade stability, so there’s real pressure when things break in production (which still happens more than leadership admits publicly). - Some processes are still catching up to the company’s size (~650 employees now). Jira hygiene varies wildly by squad, and cross-functional alignment between Sales, CS, and Product can feel political at times
