Clear vision led by people with the chops to pull it off. Great culture with incredibly smart and friendly people. Good work life balance. Flexible hours. I loved working here.

Minpunten

Stagnant salaries. Too much time spent on making a a few top tier clients happy rather than scaling the business. The daily deals industry is failing and the only way it's going to work is at scale. Focusing on that handful of clients left us at their mercy.

Culture is a huge part of the Group Commerce experience. If you're looking to get assignments, head to a cubicle, and hammer out assignments, this isn't the place for you. The work is pretty rewarding, and we are new enough that we are still figuring things out, meaning everyone can make a significant impact on the future of the company. At the same time, we are well-funded and making money; not yet profitable, but tracking toward it nicely. Also, memes are a big part of life.

Minpunten

Paychecks are probably on par with other nyc startups, but those other startups are probably more generous with equity.
