Ridiculously low wages for "friends of the family" which the employer (bizarrely) seemed to be almost proud of. In some cases they might not even pay you at all. The company makes almost no profits with their chaotic rhythm, and whichever profit they do make it's almost guaranteed to be taken from the company's coffers to serve the employer's personal finances.
