Minpunten
Pay is the number one concern; No base pay, 100% commission earned "only" from what you sell, and with each sell, turns into a house account, without the possibility to earn future commission from them again. There’re no stipends to offset out of pocket expenses when working from home. Career growth is hardly ever mentioned, as I never saw a clear path to any potential gains. Secondly, how old-school GBP operates, although organized, they're 20-years behind time utilizing technology... no electronic database whatsoever, no easy ability to collect payment on sales, and no professional digital display tools to help sell potential advertisers. All communication is done through personal emails, cell phones, and direct mail. Thirdly, I did feel like I was part of a family owned small business, but at the end of the day, it’s more cutthroat than corporations ten times its size (which I’ll expand on within the managers suggestion box below). GBP lacks identity, and lack of managerial foresight, is one reasons why there’s such high turnover, as some people quit soon after being hired on to seek better opportunity, while others get laid off, even if they were only there for two months. Considering the many online reviews from people’s stories, expressing my exact sentiments mentioned above, I can only empathize from their experience, which saddens me to say. No electronic database whatsoever, No easy ability to collect sales, No professional digital display of products to show potential advertisers. All communication is done through personal emails, cell phones, and snail mail. Taking in consideration of the many complaints expressing my exact concerns of low pay, outdated operations, and lack of leadership, I can empathize with others, which saddens me to say.
