Pluspunten
- If you want to stick to North India, it's OK. - If you don't have any other option in hand. - Job comfort in most cases. (Fresher or experienced) Typical 10 to 6 job. - Hardly any weekend crunch\call ups. - Chilled out people (mostly).
Minpunten
- Low compensation. - Peanut sized hikes. - Biased Management - You are only as good as your project. If lucks runs out and you are forced into a hopeless project, you are ruined no doubt. - Managers, Leads give preference to female candidates. (If you have the looks you will get an opportunity) - Highly political. - Work ethics? Procedural work? Certainly not. - Little corporate atmosphere. (Managers come wearing slippers, leads come in track suits, often.) - Totally laid back attitude. No urgency. - Appraisal cycles take an age to close. - After a really short while you will start looking for a change. Suffocating at times for those who like to excel at work or atleast want get recognized at work. - Achievements are only highlighted if you literally worship your seniors\managers. - BUs often don't have new projects in pipeline (only referring to current situation) - Fail to recognize true talent and retain it.
