The company itself is still finding its footing after being sold to Thoma Bravo. Many changes have been made for the better and for the worse but mostly better. I was appreciative for the changes such as the paternity leave and the ability to work remotely (really enjoyed that). Seemed like overall, the company is trying to "keep up with the times".

Minpunten

If I'm being quite frank, it's your manager that will make or break your experience here. I have worked with many proficient managers but there are some managers and employees that are not on the same page with the values of the company. Those individuals are more concerned with how they come across upper management and blindly "doing what they are told" without considering the human aspect that is needed when working with others. I have seen plenty of people that have kept their heads down, and not say anything when something is happening, so they can keep their jobs.

We always appreciate the feedback we receive from those who have spent time here with us at HCSS! As you mentioned, we are working to find our footing as we continue to grow after our recent acquisition and this will come with changes. Overall though, we want to ensure we grow for the better so it's very nice to hear some of our more recent benefit changes are a good addition for our employees. Great place to learn and grow, they very open to questions so don't hesitate to ask. Very hands on with mentorship, ensure you are moving in the right direction.

Minpunten

no cons except the pay, but it's the typical salary for an intern.
