This is probably the best company in the ASC market. It is seen by customers as a much friendlier company than some of its competitors. Senior Leadership is packed with experienced professionals who have taken the company to the next level over the past couple of years and who seem to be driving the company toward even greater success in the coming years. The benefits are very good including unlimited PTO, $3,000 per year to your HSA if you have a high deductible plan through the company, and employee (but not spouse/family) health insurance premiums are covered by the company. Town Hall meetings bring the company together virtually every month or two in order to make sure everyone is aligned on the company's health, vision, goals, strategies, and core values. Everyone cares deeply about the customers and their success.
Minpunten
Although HR promotes the concept of a work-life-balance, it's not easy to achieve. The employees are very committed, but this creates a culture of overworking. So putting in a 40 hour work week may make you feel lazy by comparison. A fair counterpoint though, is that HR has openly said, "If you are burned out or don't feel like your role is a good fit, come and see us. We would rather help alleviate the burnout and/or find you a new role than lose you." Five companies came together over the course of November 2020 and April/May 2022. While there are lots of smart and hardworking people in the company, the transition was not easy on anyone and there are a few lingering side effects.
