There are some great people here if you can find them. Remote work.
Minpunten
When I started and did a meet and greet with several employees in differing roles, I found that most people had been there under 2 years and overall didn’t get a great vibe about their experience with the company. I did my best to take those comments with a grain of salt and move on. I’ve never seen so many VPs, AVPs and directors in place that just sit in meetings and don’t actually contribute to the work. They just tell others what to do and if they change their minds on what they want, it’s your fault. Those in these management positions show little respect for those under them and constantly make condescending remarks. They are constantly “restructuring” and the job description vs expectations are non existent. Each restructuring comes with layoffs that occur monthly. Employees don’t feel valued and are in constant fear of losing their job. The layoffs always come with a vague, rehearsed statement and then say that will be the last….until the next month. Expectations are not clear and often change without knowing. I received a new manager and job title but the manager didn’t have a description of the role or how I should change what I’m doing day to day. Messages are sent at all hours of the day and night with expectations of a response outside of normal business hours. Employees don’t feel trusted that they might know something based on years of experience and elsewhere. Their attempts at quarterly planning were a joke. Well into the quarter and teams are still trying to figure out what they should work on.
