Pluspunten

To date, HelloSign has been able to compete against companies 30 times larger because of the strength of its product, but our greatest asset is the people that work there and the culture we have. We are a true startup in the sense that we're fun, small and operate without bureaucracy, but we're vastly different in terms of how deliberate and well-thought-out each decision we make is. We're an incredibly close-knit, diverse group that's more like a family than anything else. We are relentlessly seeking to improve everything from our new hire onboarding experience to the ease of our UI, and the leadership team supports us all in contributing everything we possibly can.

Minpunten

In comparison to our competitors, we're small and are constantly forced to make careful decisions about where to spend our time and resources. Consequently, we can't always move as quickly as I'd like. We have several product needs that have to happen consecutively rather than simultaneously because we simply don't have the manpower in place yet.

HelloSign is the best company I've ever worked for, specifically because everyone is truly empowered to take ownership, callout feedback and make changes. Become joining this team, I came from a highly structured hierarchy, working for large corporations. "Red tape" was a buzz word, but I didn't fully understand how much my hands were tied until I joined HelloSign and witnessed first hand how easily recommendations can be presented and thoughtfully considered. It's a place where I feel safe and encouraged to respectfully disagree when I think there is a better approach, everyone is receptive to new ideas (including our senior leaders); all in efforts to push towards constant improvement. Commitment is extremely high, we're all invested in building this company and culture together. We even recently had an off-site retreat for the whole company to identify our company values...talk about inclusion!

Minpunten

The company is growing and there are processes that just don't exist or are no longer well matched for the new company size. This takes time and patience to sort through, but this is also why our team is so engaged...everyone plays a strong part in building the company we want to work for.
