The staff there truly cares and will help you succeed. You are doing real journalism and facing real deadlines. Great equipment library you can rent.

Minpunten

For being an unpaid internship they give you a massive workload, which they will happily work with you on to meet, but regardless, you are expected to dedicate a large amount to the position.

-Friendly staff, family like atmosphere. You spend so much time with your fellow interns they become your friends. -Definitely looks good on a resume and you get hands on experience. -Many people I interned with got jobs at local news stations so it's a good place to make connections.

Minpunten

-Very little feedback on news packages as well as communication between management and interns in general. I came in with no experience and I left with a demo reel that looked like absolute crap. -They say you need to work a minimum of 20 hours a week but don't be surprised if you need at least 50 to complete your assignments, no exaggeration.
