Lots of learning opportunities. The company will support your professional development through versatile work experiences across various teams & roles. Most employees understand internal tools/rules/resources with roles often overlapping in responsibilities. This structure encourages diverse tasks and learning opportunities to advance professional growth. Management will often financially support educational advancement opportunities when asked and offers frequent Lunch & Learns and guest speakers. One of my favourite perks of working at HSM was the much-appreciated bonus day off before any formal holiday.

Minpunten

One significant challenge was the limited documentation, accountability, and authoritative followthrough. Employees are often required to juggle multiple roles/duties, leading to a lack of clear job definitions and overwhelming workloads. This overlap in responsibilities often caused confusion and diluted focus during meetings. Meetings are frequently organized at short notice, often without a clear agenda or consideration for employees' schedules, leading to potential conflicts and reduced efficiency.
