When concerns were raised, HR and Ethics did not feel like resources for employees. Instead, they seemed more focused on protecting the organization than addressing legitimate staff concerns. Long-term contributions did not feel valued, communication was poor, and leadership appeared disconnected from the day-to-day reality employees were carrying. For a large institution, the retirement and long-term benefits were also disappointing and did not feel competitive.
