HubSpot was great when I started, but everything has eroded completely, especially in the last 2 years: - almost all benefits have been scraped - in EMEA all they do is pay for therapy and to freeze your eggs so can continue being a productive employee. Unlimited PTO is gone. - many are suffering from burnout. - if you voice that you feel overwhelmed and overworked, you get told that you should learn to prioritise better. If you're not happy, it's always a you problem. - Salary increases are minimal and non negotiable. No more equity for most new hires and promotions. - Promotions increasingly harder to get, very few opportunities for lateral moves. - Management tells you, in so many words, to adapt or perish. At this point, when comparing working for HubSpot to working in any other tech company, HubSpot is loosing. Neither benefits nor salary are competitive and the workload is unbearable, and there are no signs of improvement. It is soulcrushing.
