You have some buying autonomy without a rigorous approval process. There is always a new store popping up so it never gets boring.

Minpunten

Low pay. Not enough buyers for the workload. Constant addition of new responsibilities with no pay increase or salary. The CMO is a horrible leader. Locations have too much say about product selection and can sabotage product assortments by not merchandising as directed. No professional development whatsoever. Only certain nationalities and genders were promoted. Look at the top executives to see who gets rewarded.

Pluspunten

Good discount on food and beverages in stores, and the pay is better than most places.

Minpunten

Upper management can be condescending and doesn't know how to do basic tasks that everyone else knows, such as operating a cash register. They change standards every few weeks, causing confusion and making it harder to do the work. There are little to no consequences for calling out, leading many to do so multiple days a week.
