Doing a good job is recognized only if you don't exceed your boss or you will allow your boss to take credit for your accomplishments/ideas. Big shake up ("transformation") last year promoted the dumbest of the dumb and created new, high paying, positions for any loyal butt-kiss whose position was threatened. Anyone not interested in playing the game was - in the end - expendable.
