Minpunten
- most leadership at the hall haven’t been in the field in decades and are completely out of touch with the average job conditions - lengthy unemployment - inability to adapt to new tech - inability to capture job market as more jobs continue to turn non-union in the wake of the locals total inaction - no paid vacation - most benefits tied to 401k hardship loan - poor job site conditions as jobs continue to be run more and more like non-union sites - lack of accountability from those in power at the hall - 3% assessment fee from every check on top of bi-annual dues which should go back into helping the membership, but does not - local owns many properties that it also collects rent on. None of which seems to be fed into procuring work or helping members in need - unprecedented nepotism at nearly every level of the organization - ‘special jobs’ particularly at arenas and convention centers only club members are allowed to have - ridiculous requirements for running work - most shop stewards unavailable, un-helpful, or both - Elections not held in good faith as incumbent leadership blatantly commits voter suppression and silences opposition with threats
