Fantastic mandate and great colleagues. By not being that "big", compared to other international organizations, room to be creative and implement new ideas in the workplace.

Pluspunten

The UNGA is a busy time at the UN, this provides a lot of excellent experience. The team works well and tries its best to ensure it is a beneficial one. Unlike many internships related to the UN, it is paid a stipend, which makes a difference

Minpunten

The stipend is not quite enough to live on, but it is fair for 3 days a week.

Friendly and inspiring environment. You really feel at the center of humanitarian work and that you can contribute to concrete impacts for vulnerable people.

Minpunten

Management does not always coach employees in new roles and too much turnover. Difficulties in balancing work and family life when you're hired on a contract basis.
