So, I have been here for a few years, and now I am exhausted from this place. To put it simply, it's a mediocre company at best. Like thousands out there. It's been around for over 25 years, with a solid foothold in the EHR space, but the growth is just not there to show for it. The main problem is the C-suite. They talk big game every year, trying to do something drastically different, but nothing sticks. Because nothing we do is ever fully finished or of the highest quality. We acquired a whole company two years ago with AI products and know-how, and we didn't do much with it. Despite planned work every quarter, some C-level folks run their own black ops pet projects behind the scenes. Operations are substandard. Product management is a revolving door, and engineers take full advantage of that by pushing back on committing fully. There is so much potential out there for our products and talent, but we struggle to complete one thing right with proper intent and focus. The CEO is a small company ceo, but tries to act like a large company CEO by asking people to return to the office three days after the initial start date, as if that will increase productivity and creativity. Everyone knows it's a control ploy to cause attrition by choice. The main positive aspect of this place is the Sales Team, and they are bringing in the numbers. Rest is a game of controlling cost, at any cost. Join if you want a paycheck, stay away if you care about a career. The operations outline a big plan every quarter, but all that is sidestepped on any given week based on what the board says or wishes. Culturally, people are becoming dissatisfied here. Some "leaders" have larger organizations and yet micromanage. Yet some leaders accomplish so much, but lack a sufficient team. Overall, I think, the folks who have skin in the game are just waiting for an exit and are running the clock. Thats it.
