working in the talent management team in Fiji feels like a paid vacation. The work is very lax, at least on the hotel side. I can't speak to the side that works in the villa. I'm used to the fastness of the industry, but this gig was very relaxed and very enjoyable.
Minpunten
The talent management team was extremely unorganized. I believe new leadership would be great rather than hiring people just because they "worked the last season" but any who. Communication and scheduling was terrible. It was so bad that even the talent could tell communication and scheduling was a problem due to the constant having to call them back and reschedule things. Also steer clear of drinking/social events. We had a DEI workshop and the same night, a high ranking producer make unwanted physical contact towards me - I could've reported it but I didn't .. eh.. but just found it somewhat comical we just came back from that HR workshop and not everyone takes those things seriously.
