There are many reasons to steer clear of InCharge Energy, but the most glaring is the toxic and dysfunctional leadership starting at the very top. The C-suite is deeply involved in every minor detail, micromanaging to an absurd degree. Instead of providing strategic direction, they create bottlenecks, override teams, and undermine any sense of autonomy. It’s clear they don’t trust their own people and their behavior shows why they shouldn’t be trusted in return. The current departmental Directors and VPs are directionless and out of their depth. There’s no long-term vision, no structure, and no meaningful coaching or support. The go-to leadership tactic? Blame. Teams are set up to fail with unrealistic expectations. When things go wrong, employees are scapegoated instead of supported. Burnout is the norm. Most employees are working 12+ hour days, regularly, without any appreciation or acknowledgement. There’s no reward system, no incentive, and certainly no recognition. Just more work, more pressure, and more finger-pointing from above. Nepotism runs rampant. Family members of execs and leaders are handed senior roles they’re nowhere near qualified for, while more competent employees are overlooked and underappreciated.
